I feel as though my last blog posting was a little negative, so I want to end the night by saying that tonight, we experienced what was (for me at least) the most powerful part of the trip. We went to a vigil that takes place every Thursday night, and has been for the last ten years. It is in honor of all those whose lives have been lost crossing the desert, and those who continue to be forced to cross. Seeing all of the people there, from teenagers to seniors, who are so completely devoted to the cause was unbelievable. There's still hope, you know?
