I thought about putting some pictures on the blog tonight, but I chose not to and would prefer that you read the written entries below. A few of our youth have expressed our day today, better than any number of pictures. Please read the entries below, they are long but really worth the time.

A blog (started in 2007) about the Macalester Plymouth United Church Junior and Senior High Youth Activities and Mission Trips.
The 2016 trip will be June 12-18. We are going to Chicago to work with a DOOR (Discovering Opportunities for Outreach and Reflection) program. We will be involved in a number of social aid efforts.

Norm -- I know that I speak for everyone when I tell you how powerful these blog entries are, and the ability for those of us back here in comfortable Minnesota to read these perspectives as they are happening is wonderful, and humbling. Thank you for setting it up and making it available, it's a true blessing.
Wow. I was at the MPUC women's bible study today and they were talking about how powerful it is to read your stories, and I offered to print off copies for those who don't have computers. They are so proud of you all and the work you are doing....as are we parents. --roberta
