Good day

Lights out in a few minutes. We had a good day in the French Quarter and lunch at Mother's. Later the heat and lack of sleep took some of the starch out of us so we went back to Tulane, but not after following up on Erica's suggestion of frozen yogurt . Worst we have had so far is a skinned knee.

More tomorrow, and thanks.

I sent a couple of our departure pics to Lee. Hopefully he can post. (BTW, what's with "the former scapegoat??) We got a nice Fathers Day greeting from our youth yesterday. Thinking of you all a lot. Weird not to be able to text and get an update. You're doing special work in a special place. NOLA may be the city that care forgot, but you'll never forget this week.

Hey NOLA crew! Here are a few places to consider hitting up:

Hansen's Sno-Blitz - a NOLA tradition for shaved ice.

The Rock n' Bowl. Great bands play there, food is good and you can bowl! Parking for the bus, too.

Magazine Street shops, restaurants and such up near where you are staying.

Glad to hear you all arrived safe and sound. It's warming up in Saint Paul, but I think you "win" in the humidity department. Drink water often and have fun!
