The 2016 trip will be June 12-18. We are going to Chicago to work with a DOOR (Discovering Opportunities for Outreach and Reflection) program. We will be involved in a number of social aid efforts.

Hey, a blog.
Tonite was the picnic, and we are all set. More prepared than ever. So prepared I can't believe it. We are not to be overconfident, however, as that is when we will get careless and goof up.
I have the following goals:
1: Do meaningful work. Really work hard, sweat in the sun, get a blister or two, and then stand back and admire the accomplishments
2: Have fun, with each other and in spite of each other.
3: Take a another step along the path of personal growth. Everyone. Just a step. Great if its ten, but we all move forward. Even the old guys.
Doing the blog thing..at O'Hare airport waiting til take-off~Rachel phoned to thank us 4 excellant flight reservations~ 26 a & b. Next from memphis~ reports came in about how our traveling savey youth~last off the plane~ made a mad dash to transfer planes and after 2 gate transfers~with 10 minutes til departure~they arrived just in time for a plane delay and another~ fine seat assignment. They arrived in New Orleans~ for a Norm T pick-up.

Thorns~ "Giving up my cell phone, 5:30 wake-ups, light duty due to shoulder injury."
